Preserving the Past

Collections

As a local history museum with limited storage, we prioritize items that have the ability to tell local stories or shed light on the history of White Rock. The White Rock Museum’s Collections include historical objects from the land which is now known as White Rock’s past, and unique objects from the present to share with the communities of the future. The museum is committed to professional standards of documentation, preservation, research, exhibition and interpretation of its collections.

We are specifically interested in material artifacts that have significance to individuals, families, or a wider community/communities in the White Rock and South Surrey area.

Due to limited collections storage, we are unable to take objects that have not been approved for donation in advance. Please call or email and make an appointment to discuss a possible donation, as items left outside the building or at the front desk may be disposed of.
